What is this, really?
I Am Himaz Challenge is a talent hunt, not an agency pitch. You create one original ad for Himaz Properties — a video that makes a stranger feel something and follow our page. Your post carries your personal participant code, and everyone you bring must do two simple things: follow our page, then comment your code on our pinned post. That comment is how the system counts them for you.
How Season 1 went
The first I Am Himaz Challenge pulled in 80–90 participants — no agencies, no big budgets, just real people telling a real story about land they could actually believe in. The prizes were real too, and everyone who showed up walked away with something:
- 1st runner-up — a plot of land plus ₦200,000 cash.
- 2nd runner-up — ₦100,000 cash.
- 3rd place — 10 winners, ₦50,000 each.
- Everyone else who entered — 50 participants, ₦20,000 each, just for showing up.
What Season 2 is all about
Same spirit, bigger stage. When the window closes, we add it all up from two sides: the engagement on your own post (comments, shares, reactions — read straight off your public post) and the people you brought to our page (each one who follows us and comments your code on our pinned post counts double). The top 4 go to a public vote. The winner takes home a verified plot of land and ₦500,000 in cash.
We are searching for a prodigy at making ads. If that's you, this is your stage.
Why we're doing this
Here's the honest truth about our business: in Yola, people don't buy land because of a billboard. They buy because someone they trust vouched for it. Word of mouth built Himaz — and word of mouth is exactly what an ad genius creates on purpose.
We could pay a stranger in Lagos to make our ads. Instead, we'd rather find talent right here, reward it publicly, and put it to work on a brand that actually deserves the hype.
Why you should enter
- the prize — a verified plot of land plus ₦500,000 cash. Land, document in your name, and hold for life. Not a giveaway phone.
- the exposure — your video in front of our entire audience, shared from our page. Thousands of Yola eyes on your work, not just your 200 followers.
- the title — "Winner of the Himaz Challenge" is a real portfolio piece. If you've ever wanted to do content, marketing or ads professionally, this is proof you can.
- the discovery — we're openly hunting for a prodigy. Impress us and you won't remain a stranger to Himaz for long.
- nothing to lose — entry is free, it's one post, and even the finalists get named publicly by our page.
Why people actually trust Himaz (your ad's ammo)
You'll be advertising the easiest thing in Nigerian real estate to defend. Use these facts — they're all true, all checkable:
- Every plot is verified before it's listed — title traced, government-acquisition status checked on the state's own ADGIS portal, boundaries confirmed on the ground.
- We publish real prices. Most developers hide prices until you call — we tell you exactly what a plot costs, estate by estate, before you ever have to ask.
- Payments go to a company account, with documented receipts. Never a personal account.
- See it before you buy it — physical site visits, or a live video walkthrough if you're buying from anywhere in the world.
- Flexible payment plans — 3 months on most estates, 40% to start.
Know your ammo: the estates
Real facts you can drop straight into your ad — check anything specific against the document pack before you say a number on camera.
Himaz Trade Center — commercial
The first private Trade Center in the Northeast. Location: After NNPC Depot, before AD Bashar Car Wash, Numan Road, Yola South, Adamawa.
- Warehouses, shops and trailer parks
- Perimeter fencing, 24/7 CCTV and security
- Light, water and every basic amenity already on site
Himaz Town — residential
Behind the NNPC Depot, about 3 minutes off the main road. Over 700 plots.
- Planned road network and drainage throughout
- Land set aside for a market, a school and a recreation ground — a real town, not just plots
- Perimeter security and room to grow
Himaz Arewa Estate — residential
One of our best-located residential sites. Over 400 plots, with more than 300 already sold — the kind of scarcity you can say on camera and mean it.
Your mission: the ad itself
One original video, 30–90 seconds. Your phone is enough. Vertical or square, made for Facebook. It can be:
- You, talking to camera — the most underrated format there is. Say it like you'd tell a friend.
- A voiceover over photos or footage — estate shots, the city, the road, the market.
- A skit — the scammer vs. the verified seller. The dreamer vs. the landowner. Make them laugh, make them think.
- A walk-and-talk — show your area, talk about what's changing in Yola.
The rules of the craft:
- Your participant code goes in the caption — and say it out loud in the video.
- The post must be public, from your own profile, tagging our page.
- Teach your recruits the two steps: follow our page, then comment your code on our pinned post. A follow without the pinned-post comment can't be counted for you.
- Honest claims only. If you wouldn't swear to it, don't say it — trust is the whole brand.
- Your own footage, your own voice, your own idea. No stolen clips, no bought followers — we verify everything.
How to actually win it — tips from the inside
- Post between 6–8 PM WAT — that's when Yola is on Facebook. Timing is free reach.
- Push it everywhere for 48 hours: WhatsApp status, your story, family groups. The first two days decide how far Facebook carries it.
- Tell every person who follows exactly what to do next — "follow the page, then drop my code HMZ-2026-014 in the comments of the pinned post." One clear instruction doubles how many actually do it.
- Reply to every single comment. The algorithm rewards conversation; people reward warmth.
- Tell your people: one comment each. A follow counts once per person — commenting your code five times from the same account adds nothing, and it muddies your numbers. Clean support reads better and scores the same.
- Hook in the first 3 seconds. Start with the sentence you'd use to stop a friend mid-laugh.
- End with a reason to follow the page — not just "follow us," but "follow so you catch the prices before plots finish."
Exactly how we score it (no guessing games)
Your engagement score is public from day one:
Engagement Score = 2 × verified new followers + comments + shares + ½ × reactions
The two halves: followers means people you brought — they followed our page and commented your code on the pinned post (we verify every one before it scores, and it counts double). Comments, shares and reactions are read straight off your own public post by our judges — numbers anyone can see, so nobody argues with them. Reactions count for something, but least, because likes are the easiest thing on earth to inflate.
Numbers aren't the whole story: our judges also weigh the quality of your video and the quality of your content — a well-made, honestly-told ad can decide a close call among the top scores heading into the audit.
- Register by 30 September — get your unique code, then create and post your ad any time in the registration window. Don't wait for the last day — pushing your ad starts the moment you post, not on a fixed date.
- Push for engagement — starts the moment your post is live and runs for everyone until 15 October, regardless of when you registered. Registration closing on the 30th doesn't stop your push.
- The audit — 15–20 October 2026 — we verify every number before naming finalists. Fakes get disqualified, not counted.
- Top 4 announced — named publicly on our page.
- The public votes — 26 October – 31 October, one clear method announced with the finalists.
- Winner takes it all — plot + ₦500,000, transferred and documented publicly. We'll show our work.

The fine print — Official Rules
Binding once you register. Plain language, no traps — expand any section.
1. Who can enter
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must already follow the official Himaz Properties Facebook page at the time you register — this is a condition of entry, separate from the followers you go on to bring in.
- One entry per person. Registering more than once (multiple names, phones or emails) disqualifies every entry.
- Himaz Properties staff may not enter. Immediate family members of staff are welcome to.
- No purchase is necessary at any stage. Entry is completely free.
2. How to enter
- Complete the registration form on this page during the registration window.
- You receive a unique participant code (HMZ-2026-###). Keep it — it is the only way your engagement is credited.
- Create one original video advertisement (30–90 seconds) for Himaz Properties, posted publicly from your own Facebook page or profile.
- Your caption must include your participant code and tag the official Himaz Properties page.
- The ad must be your own work — your footage, your voice, your idea. Submitting someone else's content disqualifies you immediately.
3. How engagement is counted
- Attributed follows (2 points each): a person follows the official Himaz page and comments your code on the designated pinned post (the "Code Wall"). Each person counts once — repeated comments from the same account add nothing.
- Your post's engagement: 1 point per comment, 1 point per share, ½ point per reaction, read directly from your public post by our judges.
- Engagement Score = (2 × attributed follows) + comments + shares + (½ × reactions)
- Quality counts too: alongside the numbers, our judges weigh the quality of your video and your content when finalizing the top 4 — it can decide a close call.
4. Verification & disqualification
- Every counted follower is verified against our page records before it scores.
- Fake engagement — bought followers, bot accounts, engagement pods — is disqualified, not counted.
- Your post must remain public for the whole campaign. Deleting or hiding it ends your scoring.
- We may request screenshot evidence (post insights) from any participant at any time; refusing twice disqualifies the entry.
- Claims in your ad must be truthful and lawful. False claims about Himaz, its estates, prices or documents end your participation immediately.
5. Timeline & voting
- Registration closes 30 September; create and post your ad any time up to then — don't wait for the last day.
- Pushing for engagement starts the moment your post is live and runs for everyone until 15 October 2026, regardless of when you registered — registration closing doesn't stop your push.
- All numbers are verified and locked before finalists are named; the top 4 are announced publicly.
- The public vote window and method are announced with the finalists — voting opens 26 October 2026. Most votes wins.
6. The prize & how it's paid
- One (1) verified plot of land in a Himaz estate, plus ₦500,000 cash.
- The plot transfers through Himaz's standard documented process (title documentation included) in the winner's name.
- The cash is paid by bank transfer to the winner's verified account with a documented receipt.
- The winner must confirm identity (matching registration details) within 72 hours of notification, or the prize may pass to the next finalist.
7. Content rights, your data & the legal line
- You keep ownership of your video; by entering you grant Himaz permission to share or feature it (with credit) during and after the challenge.
- Your registration details are used only to administer the challenge — never sold or shared. Ask us anytime to correct or delete them.
- This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp. You provide your information to Himaz Properties LTD and to no other party.
- Himaz reserves the right to disqualify entries violating these rules or fair play, and to amend the rules where genuinely required — amendments are announced on this page. Verified judging decisions are final.
